Our Services

If you’re a Port Angeles homeowner, the first thing you want is a clean, safe chimney that lets your fire burn without worry. A professional chimney sweep will scrape away creosote, that oily buildup that can turn a cozy fire into a dangerous blaze. We’ll check the flue for blockages—bird nests, debris, or soot that choke the draft and can pull smoke back into your home. Our honest inspection pinpoints any cracks, rust, or ventilation issues before they cost you more. After the sweep, we restore proper draft, so heat flows up and out, keeping your house warm and your family safe. Call us at (888) 606-5487 for a straightforward, no-fluff service you can trust.

A typical chimney sweep includes a visual inspection of the flue and firebox. We brush out creosote buildup and clear any debris or nests. The damper is checked for proper operation and the chimney cap is examined for damage. We also test the draft to ensure smoke is venting correctly. Finally we give you a report on the chimney’s condition and any needed repairs.

Pricing is based on the size of the chimney and the amount of creosote to remove. A standard single-flue sweep starts at a flat rate, with extra for multiple flues or heavy buildup. We provide a clear written estimate before any work begins. No hidden fees or surprise charges show up after the job. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for a safe, clean chimney.

You don’t need to stay for the whole job, but we do need access to the fireplace and flue. A homeowner should be present for the safety walk-through at the start and end. If you can’t be there, a trusted adult can give us entry. We’ll lock the doors after we finish and leave a written summary. Just make sure the area is clear of valuables and pets.

A typical residential sweep takes about one to two hours, depending on the chimney’s condition. If there’s heavy creosote, we may need extra time to scrub it out safely. Multiple flues or a very tall stack can add another half hour. We also factor in a brief inspection before and after cleaning. Most homeowners in Port Angeles see the job done and clean up before dinner.

We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee. If you spot any missed spots or ongoing smoke issues, call us within 30 days. We’ll return to re-inspect and correct any problems at no extra charge. Our guarantee covers both the cleaning and the safety of the draft. Trust that we’ll make sure your chimney operates safely and efficiently.

Clear the area around the fireplace and make sure pets are out of the way. Remove any loose items like toys or rugs that could get in the way. Open a window for fresh air and keep a fire extinguisher nearby just in case. Shut off any gas line if you have a gas insert. Let the crew know if you have a wood stove or a pellet system so they bring the right tools.

We cover the whole county and the nearby towns, from the waterfront to the foothills. If you live within an hour’s drive of the main highway, we’re likely able to get to you. We’ll check the address first to make sure it’s on our service map. Rural addresses are fine as long as there’s road access. Just give us the zip and we’ll confirm.
